Artistry Title
As with most kids Sandy would get in trouble for
drawing on walls. Ironicly Sandy now makes a living doing that very thing.

Sandy loved drawing from a very early age. The school system she attended in Michigan and later in Colorado featured art as a weekly lesson. They encouraged students to try many kinds of media and techniques to express themselves.
As her interests developed, nature became Sandy's greatest inspiration. She married in 1970 and began raising a family... all the while looking forward to someday having time to develop as an artist.

Her mother was an artist during her later years and gave Sandy her first lessons in oil painting. Over the years raising children, she painted portraits of friends and family.

She attended Modesto Junior College and enjoyed learning watercolor from Dan Petersen, an accomplished artist and teacher in the area.

She is currently developing a mural business enjoying helping people design custom murals for their homes. Some are painted directly on the walls and some are on canvas, enabling the homeowner to take them when they move.

Sandy is able to offer mixed media such as pencil, charcoal, pastel, ink, watercolor, acrylics and oils. Her real joy is in seeing her clients happy with artwork designed for them personally.
